Canadian Global Care Society is a organization with refreshing ideas and dreams to change the face of health care around the globe.
Canadian Global Care Society was formed in 2009 when like-minded people with the desire to give back to the world and to their communities decided to unite on a common platform.
Our first project was to support the building of an earthquake-proof hospital in Northern Pakistan. We have been working diligently with the Midland Doctors in the UK and have been successful in the creation of a state of the Art facility in a remote area.
The hospital was inaugurated in 2013 and is now fully functional with modern technology and amenities. With dedicated team efforts and with the help of our volunteers all over Canada we have been able to donate one million Canadian Dollars to the hospital.
It is a matter of pride for us to have the initiated the pediatric wing, the eye department with state-of-the-art equipment and the malnutrition program.
We have always been there for our local community as is evident by our regular volunteering & fundraising efforts for the Calgary Inter faith Food Bank, Mustard Seed, Breast Supportive Care Foundation, Canadian Red Cross, Breast Cancer Research and The Calgary Health Trust.
We have an Annual walk/run to support the vulnerable chronic pain patients. In addition to the above, we are passionately involved with the refugee population and support refugee mothers and the University of Calgary YYC Refugee Program.
Our strong youth team is involved in our global and community projects.
We are focused on health education and offer seminars to the population in general for common health related conditions. Our goal is continue to support our global and local communities and foster the spirit of volunteerism in our youth to make the world a healthier place.
